To be located in Sioux Falls, SD this playground will be an Unlimited Play inclusive playground — a place where limitations will be forgotten and differences are celebrated!

For nearly a century, the Sioux Falls Noon Sertoma Club has been dedicated to making our community stronger by serving others. Since 1929, our members have given their time, talents, and resources to enhance the quality of life for families in Sioux Falls through volunteerism, education, and support of projects

that bring people together.

In the early 1990s, we built Sertoma Park, creating a place where families could gather, children could play, and neighbors could connect. That park has become a cherished part of our community’s story. But today, we recognize that not every child or family can fully enjoy it. Too many children are left on the

sidelines because traditional playgrounds were not designed with them in mind.

Our “why” is simple: every child deserves to play. Every family deserves to belong. We are re-imagining Sertoma Park as a vibrant, inclusive destination where people of all ages and abilities can experience the joy of play together. This new playground will feature accessible equipment, sensory-rich play

experiences, safe and welcoming spaces, and thoughtful design that ensures no one is left out.

This project is about more than slides and swings. It is about dignity, connection, and belonging. It is about creating a place where a child who uses a wheelchair can finally play side by side with their friends, where grandparents with limited mobility can join their grandchildren on the playground, and where families of all backgrounds can gather and feel welcome.

By supporting this project, you are helping us carry forward a legacy that began nearly 100 years ago—building not just a playground, but a community where everyone has a place. Together, we can make Sertoma Park a beacon of inclusion, joy, and hope for generations to come.
